Reflexively, you curl tighter. Just another minute. Just another minute of sleep is all you need, but the sun waits for no one. Wait. The sun? After many days and nights with only moonlight to guide you, your eyes snap open and your pupils contract at the light.

It's been a while, hasn't it?

Bask in this euphoria for however long it lasts, until your memory snaps back against your mind like a rubber band. Weren't you dead? No matter how you met your end, you certainly remember dying in vivid detail. The pain that corresponds to the last moment's of your life chooses then to make itself known, trying to wriggle free from your skin almost literally. That mark on your skin wasn't there before either.

Take a moment to breathe and get your bearings, and really take everything into focus. The warm rays of sun that dance upon your skin are colorful and fragmented like a kaleidoscope, the effect of being filtered through stained glass. Of all the places to wake up, it seems you're inside a church that's no stranger to you, St. Mary's Basilica. While the odds are good you've woken up with company somewhere near by, the glint of gold from the altar will likely catch your attention regardless—embedded deep in the altar stands a golden staff, two sculpted wings draped down its sides.

While some things are the same, and some things are different, there are still more questions than answers. But the inscription engraved into the roof of the ceiling of the Church, now visible in proper lighting seems rather apt: Welcome to Krakow (again).

Section 2 - Botanical Gardens

[Since he's already here snacking on some of the plants, he may as well start looking around for a key. He's paying as much attention as he can... Though at this rate it's possible he might find the key in one of the pots.]

[ Wouldn't it be funny if the key was in one of the pots. This is not the case, and there's nothing that sticks out here other than that the plant life on this side has seen it's better days. Not too surprising seeing as no one's really taken care of it and much snacking has been involved. ]

[Ahem.

Yes, let's um. Go check the door itself. How much of the locked part is glass?]

[ Less of it than you would expect, given the design on the door. The wood is pretty sturdy all things considered, but it's still wood. ]

[twoasone]

[Hm. He could probably stick his hand through one of the slats if he...

What is he thinking? He's gonna do a through search of the gardens first.]

[ Enjoy your munchies, but there's no key among the gardens. ]

[ ... WHELP. Are there any ceramic pots heavy enough to smash through wood and glass? ]

[ There are planters you could feasibly pick up, but you either need two people or someone who can lift 30-50 lbs easily. ]

LOCATION CHANGE: Arcade

[ . . . Maybe we should probably move on for now and maybe come back if we find a key. Or a person.

Since he knows for a fact that nothing had been different about the Art Studio when he got there, he'll make his way to the arcade for a more thorough investigation. ]

[ Which will you find first!

Seeing as everyone was in the arcade for a very weird fusebox configuration a few weeks ago, this area has already been pretty scoped about. There's nothing new to find here. ]

LOCATION CHANGE: football field

[ Whelp.

The main square he kind of avoids because of a certain disagreeable Hollow, and he thinks Grandpa already got the gym...

What's up with the football field, besides the marquee? ]

[ There's some miscellaneous papers left on the bleachers! ]

[twoasone]

[ He's gonna pick those up and read them. ]

[umbralant]

[ Do you love football? Well whoever left these here clearly does! The majority of the papers are just advertising upcoming games and what's available from the concession stands, but there is a tourist brochure in the mix.

A lot of it is sights Shin already knows, but one line will stick out in particular: did you know there are crypts beneath the city? Well now you do. ]

Crypts?

[ As Shin was trying to make clear before he got dragged into this whole mess, he wouldn't desecrate decaying bodies lying in a grave... But maybe that woman might have had more use for them.

He frowns as he reads through that section of the brochure for more info. ]

[ Unfortunately there isn't much more detail, just that the crypts run really deep in a vast network underground. There's a line about how not all of crypts have been explored yet either. ]

[twoasone]

[ ... He'll keep this for his records. Anything else to explore? Vendors? Locker rooms? The place where we were playing with marquees last week? ]

[ Nope they're all clear! ]

Hm.

[ Shin has no use for the mascot costumes, so off he goes... ]
