Sure, but I wouldn't call just pushing someone into a mob of blobs exactly experimenting. She takes a lot of credit for what isn't even her doing. The manifestations are from this land, and have been here for apparently from long ago. She's just taking advantage of it. Apparently the Night has only started to last this long several weeks ago, probably her doing.

They're definitely connected with the Night. They're here too but they're much weaker. Apparently most people in the Day aren't aware of their presence at all.

Most likely. She's "experimenting" with things she doesn't completely understand so, I'd say she has some sort of dumb villain plot she has going that she thinks she can solve with this. I don't know if it'll be relevant in the long run.
